The questions we hear most before someone trusts a saju reading. These are how we actually operate, not marketing answers.
Saju is less a forecasting tool than a coordinate system for "the texture of your time." That people with the same chart tend to share dispositions, strengths, and weak points is what 1,500 years of Korean clinical practice has documented — but no serious practitioner, and neither we, claim deterministic "this person will do X on this day." Treat any reading as one lens worth considering, not the final word.
See our methodology →The structural facts in your chart (stems, branches, five elements, ten gods, pattern) are computed by our deterministic engine — the AI can't invent or change them. The AI's job is turning that structure into clear Korean/English prose, weaving in today's day pillar in a warm Korean-elder tone. Facts are deterministic; phrasing is statistical.
See the AI boundary →Same Song-dynasty (子平) root, a thousand years of separate refinement. Korean saju (a) weighs the bag of folk "spirit symbols" (神煞) least, (b) follows pattern (격국) and Ten Gods (십신) hierarchies most strictly, and (c) has a warm, practical Korean-elder tone. Chinese BaZi emphasizes rising/falling fortune flows more; Japanese Shichūsuimei leans into metaphysical yin-yang balance.
The reading loses depth. The hour pillar is one of the four pillars, and the key signal for self-expression, late-life fortune, and family with children. Without it we leave that territory unanalyzed rather than guessing. If you want to reverse-infer, our 24-question Birth Time Finder runs softmax over the 12 candidate hours using your day master and life patterns.
Try the Birth Time Finder →No. Same saju, but environment, parental expectation, and personal choice diverge from day one. The traditional Korean line is "fate is 80%, fortune is 20%, effort is on top." Saju is the hand you were dealt; how you play it is what shapes the life.
The photo is sent to the AI model once, analyzed, and discarded immediately. No image is ever stored in our database — only the textual analysis lives 90 days, then auto-deletes. We don't even define an image field in the schema, so there's no way to accidentally write one.
Privacy policy →Your birth date is stored securely in your account — encrypted in transit (TLS) and kept in an access-controlled database — and used only for saju computation. We do not sell to third parties or use for advertising. Delete your account and your chart, daily readings, and vision results delete with it. EU and Korean users can request a data export or full deletion at any time per GDPR / PIPA.
Horoscopes bin a year into 12 sun signs, so everyone born in the same month gets the same reading. Saju goes down to the hour, producing about 500,000 unique combinations (60-cycle × 60-cycle × 60-cycle × 12-hour). The resolution is fundamentally different. Also saju leans more toward 'who you are and what season you're in' than 'do X today.'
Three habits. (1) Read your daily one-liner each morning to set the tone — is today a decision day or a listening day? (2) Re-read your own chart (My Saju) once a month and check whether your recent behavior matches your strengths and drains. (3) Before major decisions, look at your decade luck (대운) phase. The reading isn't there to constrain or compel — it's a mirror for stepping back from your own pattern.
Add them in Relationships and pin them with the ★ as your primary partner. Your dashboard then surfaces daily partner guidance — a conversation tip, gift idea, activity to share, and topic to avoid for that day. You can also compare across six relationship kinds (romantic, work, family, friendship, business, mentor). Use it as "what shape does this connection have?" — not as "should we break up?"
Open Relationships →Daily readings, My Saju, basic compatibility, and MBTI are free. Face and palm readings cost 3 credits each — refunded automatically if analysis fails (blur, minor, wrong subject). Yearly forecasts, decade luck, naming, and auspicious dates unlock with premium. Out of credits? Your past readings stay — just top up to run new ones.
See pricing →Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you haven't used any premium feature. Once you've consumed a yearly forecast, face reading, naming, etc., partial refunds are not available because the LLM analysis cost is already spent on that content. Auto-renew can be canceled anytime — it stops the next cycle, and the period you paid for continues to its end.
No. The score is "how much today's element supports your day master," not "you will have an accident." A low day usually means (a) defer decisions, listen more, or (b) move other-centered rather than self-centered to let the flow open. Read low scores as "live with a different tone today," not "danger."
Two reasons. First, saju doesn't work that way — it reads the texture events flow through, not the events themselves. Second, deterministic predictions narrow your freedom. A reading that says 'you will break up that day' becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. We deliberately phrase readings to leave you room to interpret — 'this phase is closer to closing than deciding,' not 'this will happen.'
